Working as a nail tech, I can put in some really strange hours. Sometimes I can work from 9 am til 3 pm, other times I can work from 8 am til 8 pm. Add my 2 hour commute into the mix and some nights we’re not eating dinner til 9 pm! Because of this crazy schedule I’m always on the lookout for ways to save time.
If I need to dice an onion for a recipe I try to dice two. I flash freeze the second one and store it small freezer bag. The next time I pressed for time I can save a few minutes by pulling a diced onion onion out of the freezer.
