Cook the noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside.
Place the sausage and onion into a large (5.5 qt.) Dutch oven and saute until sausage is browned and onion is translucent.
Add the chicken broth, cabbage, crushed red pepper, garlic, salt and pepper and simmer until cabbage is tender.
Add peas and cream cheese and simmer until the cream cheese is almost melted.
Stir in the noodles and allow to heat through. Add more salt and pepper if desired.
Add more broth or less cream cheese if sauce a thinner sauce is preferred.
