I like to think I’ve never met a cookie I didn’t like and these are one of my favorites! My mom got this recipe from someone she worked with many years ago and we’ve used it many times. Using refrigerated cookie dough makes them super easy to make and they are simply oozing with chocolaty goodness!
They are a perfect option for school bake sales, class parties or any occasion where cookies are welcome! I only made a half recipe for this post because, trust me, my thighs and I don’t need a whole pan of these sitting around my kitchen!
Jump to RecipeFirst, place the sweetened condensed milk in a medium saucepan with the chocolate chips and salt. Warm over low heat until the chips are melted. Remove from heat, add the vanilla extract and mix well.
Press the cookie dough into the bottom of a greased 11 x 13 baking dish.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cookie dough and spread evenly.
Dot the remaining cookie dough over the melted chocolate.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until the cookie dough on top is golden brown.
Enjoy!
