My friend Christie gave me this recipe when I suddenly remembered that I promised to bring a dessert to Bible study.

I had approximately 2 hours. In that 2 hours I needed to make an hour commute, a trip to the grocery, make dessert and change clothes. I could’ve bought some cupcakes or cookies but I really like to take something homemade, even if calling this a “homemade” dessert feels like cheating because it is so easy. All it takes is 4 ingredients and 5 minutes, 6 if you can’t find your scissors.

For this recipe you need:

1- 5.1 ounce 6 serving box instant vanilla pudding

1- 20 ounce can crushed pineapple with the juice

1- 8 ounce container whipped topping

1- 9 inch ready made graham cracker crust

First, pour the pudding and the pineapple with the juice into a bowl and mix well.( I recommend using regular instant pudding. I used sugar free pudding this time but I don’t think it set up as well.)

Next, gently fold in the whipped topping.

After the filling is mixed, gently pour it into the crust. Put it in the refrigerator and let it chill while you get dressed. Voila! You have dessert!

Enjoy!
